Hi recovering. I am with Mels' team as well, and when I have had concerns etc like not heard anything, I just call them. I handed all of my documents in and now I'm playing the waiting game. I know already that when I started this a few weeks back that Christmas was going to interfere with the creditors meeting, but their is nothing either the team or myself can do about that, as it is a very busy time of year.
I feel weird about not paying my creditors this month, first time I haven't, but I will deal with any calls when I get them.
As it's payday for me and my OH today, we get to start our new budgeting, which will give us the chance to 'trial' our planned I&E for the IVA, and save towards our contingency fund, so maybe doing something like this will help you prepare and feel like you are moving on ??
You are doing well and have done your bit for now, so just chill in the knowledge that your getting your debt sorted !!

Mel's team are very thorough and will be doing their absolute best for you. I'm sure they wouldn't mind letting you know where everything's got to if you give them a call. Stay optimistic x
Hi Recovering - give you Case Administrator a call or drop an email and they will be able to update you, they may be waiting on something outstanding - never worry about calling in if you feel a need to touch base - thats what we're here for. It always feels like ages but everything will be in hand

i'd echo Tina's advice - we went with Mel too, ring them.
our 1st call with Mel's team was 2nd Dec last yr, meeting was mid Feb,we wanted it before xmas- so unrealistic lol!
the biggest piece of advice i'd give is to use the waiting time to save all you can, you'll be so glad you did. post ofen for support- helped us so much.
the not sleeping etc is all part of the dreadful stress you guys are under right now,try to eat well& get out for a walk.
you're not alone, hang in there, big hugs to all who need 1[;)]x
Nothing stays the same...everything changes..hang on in there!
I have to get a balance on a personal loan with Lloyds I am a bit surprised I have had no correspondance from them yet. My administrator said all I have to do is ring to ask for a balance...anyone have any idea on what I can say? sounds ridiculous but I haven't spoken to anyone, I am scared they will ask me loads of questions as I must be in arrears by now and I have an overdraft and a credit card with them. Do I just ring the normal call centre for my current account? AAAAHHHHH i'm sorry for asking so many questions
Recovering .. just tell them that you are trying to get your finances sorted out ( as you have missed a few payments that won't come as a surprise). And, before you can decide what action to take you, understandably, need to know the full picture, so can they provide a statement with the up to date balance ?
The call centre should be able to give you numbers for any that they can't deal with.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Some times when you ring a bank, you get options to choose from (automated of course), one of these is usually an up to date account balance.. they ask you to tap in your account number and the balance is given over the phone and you don't need to talk to anyone. Is this an option for you?
Hi I have looked all over Lloyds website and I can't find an address or email address to write to anywhere do any of you clever people have any bright ideas? I have no paperwork apart from the loan number from my bank statement
I think you may have to bite the bullet and speak to them. If you write it will delay your application.
