You'll be fine recovering.

I don't want to jinx myself but I promise to stop the "ME ME ME" when/if I am accepted and try and help someone else on here the way you all have helped me

Don't worry! We all need to let off steam and the stage you are at is the most stressful, in my opinion.

Recovering, i think you'll feel better after talking with Mel. we found her very easy to talk to.

i'm sure you're going to be able to give lots of support to newbies.going through all this has certainly given me/us more compassion & understanding to people who are in a mess. we all know how much courage getting help & sorting it out takes[;)].

we all deserve a 2nd chance.hang in there,you're not alone,big hug x
Nothing stays the same...everything changes..hang on in there!

You'll probably find that now the phone calls are taking place then things will speed up. I know you have had problems getting all the evidence etc together. That really is the hard bit for you. Now just sit back and wait!!

Hi recovering. You chose well with melanie and she will do her best for you. Its not as hard as you think living in an iva. The relief of no more debt and stress of red letters ia a fair exchange. You learn to budget and these days I can do a family shop for a quarter of what I used to spend by doing lists. You will be ok. Good luck and let us all know how you get on. :)

Recovering, with a bit of budgeting, which you soon get used to, I find living in the IVA easier than before, when all my income, not just the disposable bit, was being eaten up in interest payments to my creditors.

It's a stressful few weeks at the beginning, when it's all being set up, but worth it several times over, and you have one of the best teams working for you.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I think it's more in my head...trying to get through 5/6 years without anyone finding out..the budgeting I am looking forward to i like seeing my bank statements now ( although it's obviously a tad false at mo)!!

You can do it recovering!!! My stepkids and my daughter know but nobody else does and that's the way I aim to keep it.

Is 11am on Saturday good for you, as Sunday might be tricky for me now - have to make the dutiful trip to visit the father in law in Cinderford!
