Doesn't surprise me at all (unless you believe the popular press!!). I think an IVA ought to be thrown in with one of the many public service perks (note: hint of sarcasm there !).

glad to hear from you & you're ok! don't shy from posting - i was just the same as you've been feeling - so are many others[;)]. certainly never seen as moaning here!

only my parents know/knew about our debt - without them (they've lent £ to do a F&F IVA )we'd have had to go BR,hubbys wages too low to do a 5yr IVA. it can feel lonely to be so stressed/frightened by yourself.

we used to laugh the the postman would be thinking we had the hot's for him while wating for our proposal! we met him at the door every day! the other letters-debts,used to make my tummy flip.

hang in there, good to "see" you.

Recovering, maybe you should do a blogg?? others have,it seemed to help them, there is such a contrast in our posts after the IVA is in place - for all of us.

i don't want to forget the awfulness of it all,i hope that will keep me&hubby on the "right" path now, living within our means[;)]

i think there is also a draw to win some vouchers for blogg of the month, you might be lucky & win.

someone will post more about it i'm sure - kallis maybe?

I am feeling better it's just the end of, and start of, month when all the letters come! Mel said she can't see any reason for refusal but I just want to get "there"!! Have begun to feel like it's the correct way forward which is half the battle? Just do not/can not have anyone find out! not sure about how to blog but will think about it...am hoping if/when i am accepted my life will then be incredibly boring and no1 will be interested[:)]

Blogs are a good idea - it certainly makes us feel better just to write it down and blog of the week happens every couple of weeks or so and Andy Davie picks the one he feels is best.

It is hard but you're on the right road and your creditors will appreciate it when your IVA is in place.
