Try and get your creditors to contact you via your mobile rather than work. Just tell them that you are going for an IVA and give them Mel's details if that is who you choose to go with.

Mel is great - I have met her numerous times and do count her as a good friend.

If you decide to go with Mel's team then you have picked one of the best and they won't put forward an offer if they don't think it stands any chance of being accepted/

If you let creditors phone you via your mobile then at least work won't be involved and you can always fib and say that they're contacting you about insurance or something like that.

Start the ball rolling now and you could be in an IVA within a couple of months.

Try to keep yourself busy and, if all else fails come on here and start a chat / discussion, have a moan or a laugh. There is someone here most times.

When is your holiday booked for? If it's already paid for then you should go for it - if you cancel then you'll lose the money anyway.

Just keep the IP in the loop so they know when they can contact you.

Holidays are fine. Many save up bits of overtime shares and allowances to fund a modest get-away. Some ( like me) get them free and gratis (care of family in south of France).

Missed the point there, didn't I ? As Jan says -- just keep your IP in the loop, in case he needs to know anything sharpish.
