Hi, I have recently been advised that I could apply for an IVA has a way to help me overcome by debt issues. I am happy to do this, however, although I have a UK address and am a UK citizen, I am not currently residing in the UK, but Ireland; can I still apply?
Is your UK address your place of residence (i.e. rented or owned by you) or have you lived in the UK in the last three years? If so then you could well qualify for an IVA.

Of course you can but you need to seek professional help.
Have a chat with an IP and give him/her details of all your personal and financial circumstances and particulars.
Visit www.iva.com for reviews on firms and practitioners and select one or two to have a chat with.
They will give you the appropriate advice and it is free.
Let us know how you get on.
