Hi I just want to thank everyone for their help to my last message, it was really useful, thank you. I just wondered now if anyone had the e-mail address for Andrew Wilkinson as to apply for Insurance I need this and I dont have it.
If anyone has it it would be really useful.

Hi hoobilly.
The insurance for iva's that I am aware of is that which is provided by John Tegg.
I think the link is www.protectiva.co.uk or you can get contact details on the experts page from the left hand side .

I mmyself am changing to the cover which John provides. My company did do cover but Johns is better so I am changing.

Hope that helps

Ang

hi julie...we hadnt heard of any IVA ins either...but after meeting john and gwen at the FF slough we looked into it..we had several conversations with john..he is sooo lovely...to cut a long story short we have now set it up..i think our premium was about 30..00 to cover us both in event of not being able to pay IVA...his site details are on this thread...and worth a call.....peace of mind is worth the money...we had just decided to use our contingency for it...but have a look at my blog tomorrow as i have some great news re this ...too late to blog it tonight....hope you get on alright with this issue...isnt it funny how some of us just dont get the info at the beginning..we took out our IVA 2 years ago...maybe the process and info given out now is more detailed....

I would recommend an insurance policy to any of my clients, especially in the current economic climate - and so long as it does not affect your ability to make your payments at the required level it has to be beneficial. John Tegg's policy does seem to offer very favourable terms.

Thanks - I'll contact John when I or if ([:D]) I get a spare minute today.

It is surprising how much we didn't know at the start but thanks to this forum are finding out.

Thanks again xx
