Hi and welcome to the forum. Well done on almost completing your IVA. Have you taken instruction from your IP? Some do like a final review with some paperwork but I think it varies company to company. How has the IVA been for you? x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm turning green as I type! Very in awe and happy for you xx

I think the finishing process differs slightly from company to company so give them a bell on Monday and they will confirm everything for you.

Congrats xx

i called them to take to find out final payment date thought it would be august as iva was set up in september, he said it would be september unless i had made any payment prior to then which i remembered doing, he called me back to say next month was last payment (whoop whoop)[:D]. he said to cancel standing order and call him and that a certificate would be sent out,,, (just seems all to easy) after all this time. It as been a struggle at times but life without the IVA would have been harder.

Great news both of you!

Michelle, just call your IP firm and they'll let you know what you need to do.

I treated myself on the 1st month, saved the 2nd, booked a holiday with the 3rd :)

Now its a bit of both, and no credit in sight 5 months on.

That's great clareyfarey. It's good to read that people are doing well post IVA.

Well done Wonderwoman for getting to the end as well. I'm pretty much halfway through now as I'll have to carry on for the extra 12 months but at least get next months payment out of the way I'll be on the downhill slope!

For me the final review paperwork was sent to me a couple of months before the anniversary of my IVA. My reviews always arrived just after the New Year.

I called my IP up to confirm the final payment date after sending in the review documents. Subsequently I cancelled my standing order after that payment went out, and now I'm awaiting the final report and certificate.

I certainly will be saving most of my IVA payment towards a deposit on my first house.
