Hi I started my IVA in August 09. I am looking for a new job closer to home, as I am currently spending 3 hours a day driving to and from work.
I have a second interview for a rol 20 minutes from home tonight but its for less money than I am currently on. However I would save money on petrol.
Do I have to tell my IVA people that I am looking for a new job, do I have to tell them that I am considering accepting a job at a lower salary, can they stop me from taking the job ?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

If your IVA payments will not be affected, then there should not be a problem.

Worth keeping your IP updated though.

I would probably keep your IP in the loop just so they know your new salary if they require to and that your payments won't be affected.

Good luck with your interview. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

You do have to advise your IP of any change in circumtances - which would include a change of job. If this results in an amendment to your disposable income, then this may have to also be considered by creditors - but I can fully support your need to work closer to home.
