Glad you have got a new account, hopefully it is not with HSBC or First Direct as they will close it down even if you don't owe them any money.

Other than that you are allowed a bank account - we all have them.

Hi Jane,

I bob in and out of this forum occaisionally, its nice to see so many other people in the same position as myself. Its not easy at first but you get used to living without your plastic jesus. Hang in there time does come around quickly, i'm amost over my 1st year and nearing my 1st review. My advise is to put a little some thing away each month so that you have a nest egg for those things that will crop up. Will will get used to being a cash only family, the good thing is, is that your more careful with your money because of this.
thanks for support, didnt realise how many people are in the same situation as us!!!!!!!!! you tend to think its only you in this financia mess.

hi Janez try and keep busy and stay calm I didn't sleep for weeks prior to getting mine approved but I realise now an IP would not propose an IVA if they thought it was not going to be approved. It will be OK you'll see. Maybe you could do yourself a little budget if you have not got one already and it will help you in your IVA and give you something else to think about so less time to worry I hope. It'll soon be next week
best wishes

Good luck to all with their meeting dates. It is a nervous time but the best offer will be out there from your IP's.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
