well done indie, so pleased for you.
Have you proposed your IVA yet??
I contacted a couple of companies but opted for Melanie and her team.
The support so far has been excellent, can't wait to get things sorted, nervous at the moment everytime the phone rings.
Best of luck

The pedal uphill may be hard but remember once you reach the top you can take your feet off and freewheel all the way down!!!
thanks orchid & michael
billy, yes i too am in the capable hands of Melanie & her wonderful team. i know exactly how you feel when the phone rings but we should both feel very proud for facing up to our situations and taking positive steps to deal with them.
Because i have a large debt with Northern Rock a mini proposal has to be put to them in the first instance before the main proposal and i'm waiting to hear back re this. So nervous but the support i have received from everyone here has made a huge difference these passed few days.
Everything crossed for you Billy.

Have now sent all our paperwork to The team, just waiting to hear about next steps.
New budget in place, a relief to not have to think about how to pay everyone although dreading the calls, but hey ho stepping in the right direction, starting to feel more positive on a day by day basis.
Just hope nothing comes along to burst the bubble.

Hi everyone,
I am with Natwest but managed to set up new account before loan was taken which saved a lot of stress, had a couple of letters but nothing too serious! my creditors meeting has been set for the 26th Nov & I know a few of you have the majority of debts with Natwest so will let you know how it goes,

Another question if someone can help. I now have a Nationwide Flexaccount in place but this only offers a cashcard. I've read many people here have a co-op cashminder account which i understand gives a electron card. Is it ok to apply for one these also?
Thanks everyone, I am hopeful I think it is a good offer! Coop account is basic which I like, looking forward to not having to juggle credit cards & finance in general but under no illusion as I know from those that have posted that it will not be easy but i guess it is not supposed to be!!
