Hi all
I was lucky enough to have my F&F accepted in October. I am with Cleardebt and as yet am still to receive my completion certificate due to the changeover. My question is am I now allowed to become a Company Director or do I have to wait until my full 6 years is up in 2018.

Congrats on f&f being approved. I am unsure of the answer to your question although my gut feeling is as this is not bankruptcy you should be ok to go ahead however any credit checks completed in the business on yourself will continue to show the iva until the 6th anniversary of the start of the iva.

Hopefully one of the experts will be along soon to answer you more precisely.

Technically you always could have - but there are limitations based on individual situations in terms of types of organisation, key man principal etc.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
