Hi my IVA is supposed to be getting discussed today at the creditors meeting. Although my IP is confident I am not. I was told the meeting would be held at 10.30 but I have still not heard anything back yet and it is now 11.30. I thought it would be a quick process is this a good or bad sign do you think? I am extremely nervous!!!

Aww try not to worry too much Mark, I am sure everything is fine and you will hear soon, if your IP wasn't confident of it going through then they wouldn't be proposing it so have faith!

Give them a call they should be able to let you know how it is going.

Took your advice and rang them at 1.30. Funnily enough they were just about to ring me! I can't believe it but the creditors who attended have accepted my proposal. £210 a month on a joint IVA for £58000 debt. I am absolutely over the moon. We had not realised how much debt we were actually in and when we did we did not know where to turn especially after ringing certain of our creditors to discuss reducing interest charges etc and being fobbed off. I would like to say a big, big thank you to those people at CCCSVA who have sorted this out for me. Even better I don't start paying anything until the first of september!!!!

Great news... I remember the feeling well, the thought of being totally debt free is amazing, but it can be done.
