Hello and welcome. Might I suggest you pop over to www.iva.com where you will find a list of reputable companies who can advise.

It's a good idea to ring a few, to get a feel for the information and to see who you "gel" with.

After the first call ( which is painless) you will have a better idea and can then ask more questions here as needed.

The advice is free and without obligation.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Mrs & Mrs S. Welcome to the Forum. sorry to hear you are struggling financial, on top of being carers. I'd probably suggest that you call a few Companies to discuss your circumstances and explore all options open to you - it's definitely worth doing some 'homework' on different companies. There are also some great experts on hear, and you could use the "Ask a Question" on the top left side of this page for a response directly from an expert. There's a lot of help/advice available, and I'm sure you'll get the help you need to move forward. Good luck.

Have a look through some of the questions posted and then see which companies are actively taking a genuine interest Then have a chat with the one you feel can offer you the best advice
Best to start things sooner than later First step is make the phonecall and take it from there
best of luck

Hi Mr and Mrs S welcome to the forum.

Glad you found us all on here as it is a great place for advice and support which are euqlly important especially when you've got the pressures you have.

Like everyone else says, chat to a couple of companies to understand your options and see where you feel most comfortable moving forward. You will want to make sure you choose the right company to look after you so time spent up front is well worth it. And that aside there are some great people on here to give you a supportive ear and shoulder when things get tough. We do also find the odd time to have a smile on here too!
