Hi. I'm new as you probably guessed.

Am a bit nervous as I'm about to start my long trek down the IVA road. Debt Free Direct are handling it. I'm just hoping they're good. After reading loads of things on here and on the main site, I'm a bit nervous. I have a load of bills going out tomorrow which will bring my debt down a tiny bit, but I think Lloyds have the deciding vote in my case. 75% of my debt is £22800, and between my loan and my credit card with them I owe them £24421.88. So unless they treat each one as a separate company that's definately over 75%. So I'm very scared. I need this to work so badly.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Johnz

Hi John and a warm welcome to the forum

Lloyds are a very commercial and supportive creditor, so long as they are sure that you are putting the best offer forward and that an IVA is the right solution for you and themselves.

The very best of luch with your application.

I also am with Debt Free Direct. I have to say everything has run really smoothly for the past 3 years. The only trouble i faced is trying to speak to somebody about making an offer to settle early.
Thanks to Melanie, i found an email address for my IP and finally got to speak with somebody. Albeit, not my IP but the lady i did speak to seemed to know what she was talking about.

DFD have dealt with my IVA and it was all in place in less than 6 weeks - very nice people and always willing to answer your questions irrelevant if you ask the same ones time and time again! Just think 5 years you will be debt free!

Hi
I am with DFD and have had no real problems although they can be slow with responses sometimes
Also the large majority of my debt was with Lloyds £22,000 and they said yes to the IVA
