Welcome Misssilly. Don't worry. Tell them, you cannot make payments you cannot afford and make whatever little token payment if you can afford it - don't make a mistake of paying more than you can afford and remember do not prioritise your payment to the most annoying creditor. Refusing to answer security questions in another option to deal with pesistantly calling creditors.
Aven after the IVA, it may take 6 months for the creditors to cascade updates in their systems. All you have to do is forward all correspondence to your IP. l do not recommend you not updating your IP with your most uptodate contact details - sometimes (e.g variation meetings), they may need to clarify something with you and if they cannot get hold of you on the phone, this may delay proceedings unnecesarily. God luck and God bless

I never paid a penny from the October to the February and my IVA was accepted. We all deal with or dealt with the calls individually so it's up to you. Personally I talked to mine and it bought me time maybe only a week but it did. I'm with Melanie Giles and don't have a reference number and to try and tell creditors that was not easy, in the end I made a random one up! They then say ok thanks bye! amazing!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I didn't make any payments either - just built up a bit of contingency fund (long since gone!!)
I never received any calls after the date of IVA acceptance although I do know that some people do. If that does happen just tell them you are in an IVA, they're not allowed to contact you and just put the phone dowm.

Hi misssilly
I know you said you made a token payment, but I would be very careful giving out any card details. Like others, I personally did not make any token payments. If you are going to enter an IVA there is little point. A token payment is not a full payment so your account will show arrears with the credit ref agencies. I would save on the money you can and concentrate on getting the paper work sorted to progress with the IVA. Keep us all posted Rich xx

Hi Misssilly don't be bullied and if they phone you again just leave them on hold, go and do something else, they will soon give up as long as your IVA includes them you are protected and they will soon get the message. xxxx
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.
IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
