I've solved the problem of creditors calls! Get the cat to answer them!

Yesterday, I took a call from a creditor who had purchased the debt from another creditor (I think) and was demanding I make a payment and threatening legal action, blah, blah... I told him to ring back in 5 minutes as I needed to deal with something.

He duly did.... And as the phone rang, my cat, who is a bit of a character did what she often does and jumped on the phone as it rang... but this time she hit the speaker button and I got to listen to the call...

Caller: "Hello, is this Miss XXXXX?"
Cat: "Meow?"
Caller: "Hello? This is XXX from XX creditors"
Cat: "Meow, brrrupp, Mow, YOW!"
Caller: "HELLO, can you hear me??"
Cat: "YOW?? MrrrOW?"
Caller: "Hello? This is X of X credit agency, I've just called 5 minutes ago.."
Cat: "YOW, MRROW, YOWW!!"

The phone then went dead. *I* know what the cat was telling him ("She's in an IVA you idiot and you can't hassle her for money") but there was clearly some sort of language barrier between the cat and the caller.... [:D][:D]

Well, that brightened me Monday morning up no end ROFL
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

That was so funny! I could get my daughters to answer it and gurgle down the phone. Have a listen to the link below. Always makes me laugh, would love to doctor it and do it to the creditors that get pushy!
