To not meet a self-employed client either by the IP or an experienced member of the team is a breach of Statement of Insolvency Practice No 3.

Michael and I cannot answer the question about your tax rebate without knowing the basis of how your IVA was presented. See my earlier posting on this - and can I suggest that you contact Karol again and ask her to intervene on this once more.

Which part of the country are you in? GT have a network of offices around the country, with IPs working in all of them. It may be possible for you to attend the office most local to you, to get this explained fully.

This I never knew, thanks for that useful info. I understand you cannot advise, thank you for your time to date though.

We live in Staffordshire, West Midlands.

If Karol can pick this up from here that would be good. Otherwise I have to contact the Customer services team as I have no direct numbers for anyone.
**23'04'14 - IVA Complete F&F Agreed with payments made to date oh and a fat PPI reclaim helped too. Completion Certificate received 23'10'14 ** After a couple of years of waking up and 'surviving' the day I now wake up and 'Live' for the day!!
**Any comments I make are purely my own opinions**

So their office in Birmingham might be a sensible option for you. I believe that they also have a network of IVA advisors based on the mainland, so it may be possible to get one of them to come and visit you as an alternative.

Thank you Melanie I shall do some investigating and fact finding with the hope that this is resolved once and for all.
