Hello all - its been a while since I have been here and (in a nice way) I was hoping to never come back again! However I am looking for advice.
My IVA started in April 2017 and a full and final was accepted in 2019. ALL of my creditors (Including Barclays) were included and my debts paid off. Brilliant!
However Hoist have been ringing me - constantly for the last coupld of weeks - saying that Barclays have sold them the debt and they are now chasing me for it! Its every day and it is stressing me out.
I haven't spoken to them or got back to them yet as I am concerned it could be a scam - they have sent a letter also but to my old old address! This debt was INCLUDED in my IVA.
Come April 2023 it will be 6 years since this all began and I was getting very excited about but this recent 'harrassment' has bought up all those horrendous feelings all over again.
What can I do? If anything? Thanks in advance and I wait to hear!

Until such time as you tell them otherwise, they will continue to try to collect or enforce collection. Should they continue then you can complain to the FCA, with whom they are registered.

When collectors buy debts, they are often in 'auction style lots' and they don't know if the debts are good or not, but, as they pay pennies for them, they take the risk.
I am not qualified to give advice and can only state my opinions, based on my IVA experiences.
