We are going to Devon it is somewhere we know well, mum used to live there, so we know our way around we always try to grab a night here and there. This will be the longest we have gone for for some years, I know the weather wont be great but we dont mind, I love a walk on the beach in the wind and the lovley fresh air. Cooking brekie in the caravan will be nice, have saved sains vouchers to buy the food for the week. A holiday is what you make it and if you read my blog you will see our main holiday which was at home was a disaster, just hope this goes a bit better.

I went to visit my parents in spain for 10 days a couple of weeks back...I did not feel guilty, I did not wear sack cloth and ashes all holiday, and I enjoyed myself..apart from...
Every restaurant bill you get in spain does not have VAT at the bottom, it has IVA !!!! ughhhhhhh ....you can run but you cant hide!!!!!!! :o(

I went to spain 3 days after my iva went through. Ok my parents paid for it inc. passport and it was all booked a year before! It was my first holiday in a few years though as I couldn't afford it before anyway. 5 years is a long time to go without some kind of break.

I've also got a sun holiday booked for Dorset in december and I'm looking forward to it, okay it may be begining of December and the weather might not be great but it could have been worse it could have been in June/july Summer! At the end of the day like Ang says, a holiday is what you make it, I've had some great camping holidays. Brings back childhood memories of holidays with parents and sibilings, 2 adults 3 children and a dog squashed into the smallest camper van ever going to Blackpool, fantastic holiday though.

Whereabouts in Dorset are you going Louise? I love Dorset - Dave and I hope to live there one day.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

I hope you have a lovely time - and you Ang. Dave's son lives near Poole - I'm not jealous at all!
