Hello all.Just wondered what people are doing for their annual holidays? That's assuming it's not tabboo to discuss on this forum.I could afford a cheap caravan but we have'nt booked anywhere as yet!Keep thinking that booking a van would use most of my contingency money and we'll be at square one again.Feel as though I'm always moaning on about something at the moment.Tired of hearing it myself and sleeping for so long all the time! Week off at the moment with kids holidays and all I can do is sleep.
Other half won't consider camping for even a night.Don't know if to attempt it alone with daughter, aged 10 and lab puppy! I shouldn't be fed up really.IVA going well.At least we have money to eat, but I guess we all get low days when in IVA's. Catx

Luckily i think i will manage a week or so in Prague. About £100 for the return flight and a very generous Czech friend putting me up in his flat for free... well okay, a fair few beers. Still beats paying for a hotel hey ;o)

Don't worry you aren't the only one who feels as though you are moaning. Part of me hates my IVA, the other part realises how lucky i am to have that option that others don't.

Hey cat, we're going to borrow my Dad's tent and go camping, haven't been since I was a very very young child, so I'm really looking forward to it. Can't go until restaurant sells but hopefully we can get a few days in before we start new jobs.

Of course....in my DREAMS, we are going to DisneyWorld Florida, flying upper class with Virgin Atlantic for, oh, about a month!!!!...........[:D][:D][:D]

I'm off to cornwall in 2 weeks, booked a sun holiday only £60 for 4 people, plus 2 days of camping. I'm only hoping the weather improves as it's starting to look a lot like last year. Last years camping essentials were wellies and a large bucket.

My Mum very kindly booked for us all to go to Tunisia at the end of July - it is all inclusive...luckily as i have no money to take for food!!!!
It will be our last biggie I guess until the IVA is over - but like i say Mum booked and paid for us, before IVA started, so be rude not to go!!!
I am already planning that when the IVA is over we are going back to Florida (been there a few times),...can't wait!
k.

We're hoping to go to Spain in september - courtesy of my in laws. Other than that I'll be spending days on the beach in hopefully sunny Wales. I'm lucky to live by the coast. If we get the weather you can't beat it!

I'm also lucky that my job means I have to stay overnight in some lovely posh hotels - I'm away for 2 nights next week and my hubby is joining me -all paid for by my lovely boss. :}

We're not going this year as too much has gone wrong, but hope to grab a week next year. We're lucky that MIL has a static van in Heacham and can have that for free but I'm easily bored there wtihout internet access! Hubby is fine it backs onto river and he would fish 24/7 if you let him!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We're going to Lyme Regis for 2 weeks at the end of July/beginning of August - mainly thanks to Dave!

I've also managed to save enough to get a cheap break in Looe in Cornwall at the end of October to thank Dave for supporting me over the last couple of years.

If we can find somewhere to house 4 children and 2 adults we will be booking somewhere using our Tesco vouchers that we have been saving up for the past few years.

Camping camping and more camping - lots of fresh air and walkin, and sitting and beer drinking on site ! Amazing how much beer you can drink when your'e doing nothing! Have lots of good books to read and let the world go by without bothering me!

Dream ! 9 down 51 to go!

You used to be able to buy lacto calamine from boots. It helps the spots and it doesn't go white like normal calamine lotion
