Sorry to hear that Skippy. I too have severe probs now which has meant I have not had the concentration level to be able to post on here. Slipped another disc about 7 weeks ago so enjoying a mixture of strong drugs, waiting for physio then an MRI like Dave.

I have so been diagnosed as having trigeminal neuralgia type 2 which really is giving me grief.

Good luck to him and I hope he makes a swift recovery.

Sorry to hear about the TM Type2 Kazza ( I was going to say what a pain in the neck --- but it's a bit higher than that!!). Is it just the one side or both ?

Just the one side - xray shows the jaw bone has worn away the cartilage so it's rubbing on the nerve now. Just waiting for my hannibal lecter type mouth shield to wear at night!! Will be a sexy look I am sure!

Sorry, I've only just caught up with this. Thank you for your kind words. Hopefully Dave is on the mend as he now seems to be having more good days than bad and thankfully he's still not getting the crossover pain which can only be a good sign. I just really hope he doesn't need an operation. It's our first wedding anniversary on Saturday so I'm just hoping that our second year of marriage is healthier than the first!

Luluj, I hope you get on ok at the hospital. Kazzafunk, I'm sorry to hear about the neuralgia. My Dad had that (among many other things) and I know how painful it is.

Had a fab break in holiday cottage number 2 - the cottage & location were superb. Enjoyed plenty of walks and lots of food !

We received a discount voucher from the holiday cottage company and have booked a short break away in March already - something to take away the return to work blues [:(]
