Jan

You can take a week off, do something different and nothing that you usually do. We did this last year. We did a week of museums, going swimming, taking a picnic to the park with our dog. No fees for doggy care. Well we did it for 3 days and then I wanted to watch some stupid soap I got interested in and post on here. My son was puckey wookey too, had too many cream eggs. It could work though if I would have had some discipline. And we enjoyed the 3 days we did it for.

I've got a couple of weeks coming up all being well. I shall be doing lots of postings on here (my husband thinks I am sad!), but I am sure we will do other stuff as well.

We live not too far away from a forest, and so will probably take the younger dog for several romps. Older dog is too arthritic now to enjoy it.

We're off to south-west France. My brother and his family live in a big farmhouse there, so we just need to pay for the ferry. Petrol and food we'd have to buy here anyway, so it doesn't cost much. We just won't do days out when we're there!

2 weeks to go [8D]
I can't wait!! I can't remember the last time I had 2 weeks holiday together. I'm off to the south of France with the extended family, it'll be a nightmare and great fun at the same time!!
I need to practice my francais and wine drinking skills [:D]
