So still trying to get all my bills down!!! I am so close to basically not spending any money each month, I wish I had done this earlier!!!!. I noticed Tesco were offering Home Insurance building and contents, if you apply you get £60.00 in tesco shopping or petrol (I though, did I read this right?) so went online thinking this would be a great way to fill the tank or shop for a week free!, but NO NO NO, you don't get anything for nothing!! they wanted 45.00 a month for the privaledge (I pay 19.99 with Sainsbury's) what a total pile of rubbish. Don't get swept up by marketing and false advertising. BE WARNED!!!
When will this all end?

One thing that Tesco do offer (which is great for all those with cars less than 10 year old) is an insurance policy which offers protection against breakdowns. for £9.99 a month you will be covered against mechanical breakdown, and it takes effect from the day you join (no waiting period). Well worth a look

Try go compare.com for home insurance quotes. Also look at using the quidco site where you get cashback for going through their website(just need to register your name etc)
I have used both and saved almost £200 on churchills price.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
