Hi Does anyone know where I can download / obtain a list of how much the government says a family of 2 should be paying for household shopping etc and / or a list of how much creditors will accept you allowing for things like vehcile servicing, clothes etc. I am working out my income and expenditure and need this info because I may think it is acceptable for food shopping to cost £250 a month but creditors will say this is too much and if so I need to redistribute that income (and cut down even more on my shopping if thats possible!)

Under current CCCS guidelines, you would be allowed a maximum of £313 per month for housekeeping, £44 for clothing and £20 for vehicle servicing - however you should really put down what you actually spend initially to see whether you could justify any higher allowances.
