how can I reclaim money owed me by ex wife

my ex wife borrowed one thousand pounds in december 2005 i am now trying to reclaim this as my financial situation requires but she has her debt beeing sorted out by a management company but she did not mention to them about the money she owes me how can i reclaim this

Write to the debt management company and provide them details of your claim. You should then receive a proportion of the monies you are owed on the same terms as her other creditors. You could also try a claim in the Small Claims Court if you wanted to press the matter further.

Thankyou for your advice this will be helpfull i hope but at the moment she will not tell me which debt management company she is with so i can not write to them. does she have to supply this information to me or can she with hold it. thanks

Threaten her with a Small Claims Court appearance if she will not co-operate. The thought of attending Court usually makes most people a little more helpful.
