Must admit that I've not looked at what else comes with the kids channels.

It's time for the annual service of our gas boiler and you wouldn't believe the difficulty we're having, getting the engineer to turn up as arranged.

Three times we have made an appointment, on a Saturday as it's the only day we can guarantee to be in. They cannot specify a time, which is remarkable as I'm sure they have a diary organised on the day of appointments. Anyway, today I walk the dog extra early so I am housebound from 9.00am - no-one turns up. I phone them at 5:30, only to be told, "he's running late so will be with you some tme soon, or maybe he'll have to re-schedule you"....[}:)]

Luckily, the weather has been glorious here today, so I've spent the day sunning myself...still I was a tad annoyed at the attitude and told them so.

It's not good service is it? Do you have to use that particular firm or can you kick them into touch next year and go somewhere else?

No I don't think you're expecting too much, we're expecting what we pay for and if they say a Saturday then turn up on a Saturday!x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Quite agree - you're paying for a service and not getting it! I'd be kicking them into touch.

Wow Julie, that 12 months has flown over, I remember the thread you started last year.
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

[:D]Andy...remember me and boiler and NO BATHS [:D]

I'm sure it would be easy to arrange an appointment if we didn't have to work. When we took out the agreement, they assured us appointment could be made after 5pm and Saturdays...the problem lies with the engineer turning up.[:)]

Eh! and I never got that cuppa!
Some 'engineers' have their own itinerary and sod to all appointments.
