Me and my partner are trying to get a mortgage but are being turned away by almost every lender. We are looking to get a 90% mortgage but my partner had an Iva I the past it was settled in 2009 and he has since been given an overdraft/credit cards by a bank, his credit score is good, mine is excellent, we both earn plenty to cover the affordability, how can we get a mortgage? We have the deposit ready & waiting we have house we love but no one will lend, is this something you can give me any advice on?

I'd give Shaun Vickery at the Select Partnership a call. He works with the whole of the market and if there is a deal out there for you he will find it.

IVA Mortgage advice needed? Looking at Right to Buy and completed IVA still on credit files ?
I think that Ryan has given advice to another forum poster today, about getting a 95% loan to value mortgage, so at 90% I hope that he can sort you out. Let us know how you get on, as it is useful to other posters to see that there is life at the end of an IVA, and importantly options.
funny i am also looking into getting a mortgage but its a council right to buy.....not sure how hard or easy, my credit file is now clean after going to financial on-busman......natwest were playing dirty
time is always the answer, stay focus and you will reach the end all in good time
