How charge cards influence your FICO assessment?

A charge card will impact on your credit score as it is, in effect, short term credit, being paid back in full at the end of each month. However, it does not illustrate long term responsible use of credit, which can boost your score even more, in the way a credit card would ---- assuming in all cases that the cards are used correctly and repayments kept on track.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
