How do I find myself on insolvency register ?

Bankruptcy, DRO and IVA people are on the list the only ones who are not are people who opt for a DMP.

I think Bankrupt's are on the list until the IPA finishes, not completely sure on that though. Someone with more knowledge will be along soon to confirm or deny.

Have just found myself, they don't use middle names, not nice reading but can now check when we complete that its come off

Our middle names are on. Just hope the landlord doesn't decide to take a peek (or the letting agent either for that matter which could actually be worse) before our contract gets renewed.

If you move a credit check will almost certainly find it

If your not planning to move, I can't see why it would bother your landlord even if he/she finds out

A landlord is interested in
- getting the rent
- making sure you can afford the rent
- minimiing the time between tennants

If your paying the rent every month (including during the iva)and have been for some time the first 2 concerns should be taken care of.

If you start missing or being late with payments that's another story, but then a perfect credit record wouldn't help I'd think

I feel shameful, almost as if its a list for the pitchforks to come out on Bonfire night after us!
How long does it take for our names to come off now our F&F has been accepted?

Anything up to 3 months I think

Some people come off after days of getting their certificate --- I upset them and was there for three months to the day.
