Hi,

We have our creditors meeting at 3.30 on Monday. Can anybody tell me how long these usually take? Will we be phoned during the meeting or after it has finished (we won't be attending)

As far as I can gather there usually isn't really a "meeting", the creditors just fax or phone their decision. I suppose that would be quite quick, some do it before that time. An expert will clarify that. Viki X

You will probably find out before close of business that day.
Nobody will actually attend as most votes are phoned or faxed through and some may already be in.

Hi everyone and thanks for your quick replies. I shall be on tenterhooks on Monday anyway, at least it seems I won't have to wait too long before I get the news.

I would definately think you would hear before the end of the day if it's at 3.30pm.
In my case I heard almost straight away, but all cases could differ.

Best of luck for the meeting[:)]

Hi,
I knew the outcome of our meeting 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. It's good to know there are friends on here rooting for you. I feel so much better being able to talk about things on here, people understand what you are going through and give very helpful advice.

I'll post as soon as I can afterwards on Monday.

Good luck to all for the 21st and I was in the fortunate position of Emma not having to wait but I do believe we have the same IP!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
