Seems to be a rather long winded process that can take 2 to 6 months!

Hi loulou - someone else on here with McCambridge Duffy received theirs recently within 2 weeks of the last payment.

However, not sure if they have now held up completion due to the VAT problem with HMRC.

Let us know when you get it though. I'm also with them and got a F&F meeting in a couple of weeks so would love to guage how long it will all take to close if accepted.

Hi,

I made my last payment last June and am still waiting for my certificate..... I'm with GT.

Interstingly, worryingly, I was also under the impression that after six years the IVA dropped off your credit file but I was just advised that it would stay on but state that it was 'complete'. I really hope this isn't right, I want it gone!!

Hi,

After six years then your IVA should drop off your credit file.

Give GT a ring and hurry them along - this is a long time to wait for your completion letter.

It took less than 3 weeks to get a completion certificate from McCambridge Duffy after final payment in November last year and was off the Insolvency Register in about 4 weeks from last payment.

Congrats on completion and you are likely to end up with your compeltion certificate very soon.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.

If you put HMRC vat problems in the search box kel you'll find a whole list of enquiries on here. SOme firms are closing, and some aren't.

It seems to be how IP's are interpreting the guidance issued to them. Doesn't help you much I know, but at least you know you have completed your part of the bargain.

You may need to hold off cashing in any lottery jackpot wins for a few months though!!

Yet again I am filled with despair about my completion with GT, <3 years of worry to go!

I don't need any more thanks, i am just constantly putting the same post again, again and again on this forum.

IPs are not allowed to advertise but my fantastic journey with McCambridge Duffy ended with none of the problems of some other IPs on this forum.
