On average it's usually 6-8 weeks on average.

If you've not already chosen a company then I suggest visiting www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. Give one or two a ring and you will receive free and impartial advice as to all the options open to you.

Welcome to the forum from myself too, with all paperwork to hand it won't take long at all hopefully and you'll soon be on the way to debt freedom. A good link provided by Kallis if you've not already chosen your IP. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It can happen within 24-48 hours if there is an urgent need, and all of the paperwork required by the IP is to hand - however you need to bear in mind that once the proposals are signed at least 16 days notice of the creditors meeting will need to be served.
