On completion of an IVA, (satisfied) how long does the IVA and any relevant individual entries show on a credit report.
IVA satisfied 05/04, most defaults recorded April/May 2002.
Many thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Hi Steve

An IVA will show on your credit file for 6 years from the start of the agreement regardless of when you complete your last payment.

Do individual entries recorded within an IVA also last for 6 years on a credit report before being deleted.

I think defaults registered will remain for 6 years from when they were registered by the creditor. Apparently you can ask the Credit Reference companies to add a note to show the defaulted debts were satisified as part of the IVA - or something along those lines. Or you could try your luck and ask the creditor to mark the defaults as satisified or even remove them...
What I would be interested to know, is how long does a creditor have to write a default once they know the account is in default (ie it is obvious the account is going to default as soon as a IVA is approved - so how long do they have to write a default in the CRF after that?).
