The only creditor that is always calling me is Capital One. I spoke to them the other day and explained my situation. Today i ignored there calls as i am fed up of telling them the same thing over and over again. I keptcount of how many times they called today, 17 would you believe!!![:0]
I sometimes get a letter off Natwests debt collevtors Moorcroft but other than that i dont here anything of anyone. I have not payed a peeny to anyone since around June when i was setting up my IVA. Should i be concerned i havnt heard off most of them or count myself lucky?
Some creditors will call you a lot - but 17 times in one day is ridiculous, unless of course you did not answer any of the calls. I would count yourself lucky that the majority of your creditors are understanding your situation and leaving you in peace whilst your IP works on your case.
My IVA proposal was cancelled when i was made redundant a week before my creditors meeting. I still have no work and The creditors all recieved a letter to state that the propsal was withdrawn due to redundancy.
I did answer there calls the other day but dont want the same converstaion again
I never answered any of my calls, and Mercers were my worst nightmare, but I never had that many phone calls in a day. Probably the most I had were 6.
If some of us had a pound for every call received during our financial troubles, we could probably amass enough cash to make a F&F offer![:D]
