I'm certainly envious!! If for a F&F I had to pay 500.00 I could offer one with my creditors recieving about 30p dividend, which I think would possibly be accepted but with fee's about 8-10k I have no chance!

I for one was very surprised (pleasantly of course) that our fees overall seem quite low to others.

Obviously some IVA cases can be quite complicated but ours was very straight forward as we dont own a house, all our outgoings were at the lowest we could get before we started the IVA path, and didn't have any complications during the set up (apart from the worry and stress, especially on the date of the meeting!)

The only time we have any contact with our IP is at the yearly review, until now when we requested figures for the FFS. Between £500 and £1000 is what we were told to expect to pay for the variation meeting so we were not looking to put forward an offer for another couple of months (our payments are £460 pm so 2 more months would have covered the fee).

I'm sorry though that you are unable to do this. We certainly couldn't if we had to pay those fees. Thats almost what our FFS figure is!
