Just had my annual review and what a hassle to get a payment break. Have had to borrow money from parents to pay for car repairs recently and was hoping to take a small payment break so could pay them back as well as buy the kids winter bits etc but have to send reciepts which is fine but then have to equate it against any over time to see if we derseve payment break etc so think ill just stick to paying them back what I can which will probably take longer than the iva to pay back!

Hi Jem13bha,

It does sound complex, when I draft a payment break I try to keep it as simple as possible as these things can get complex.

If you explain the situation clearly to your IP and tell them your cicumstances they may allow you the break with as little hassle as possible? Sam
