I just want to know as a self-employed how much tax will I pay?

You will have to speak to HMRC about that. But it is broadly the same as a PAYE person would, in terms of tax free thresholds and the tax bands above that. You will aso have to pay NIC, based on your profits.

You pay 20% of your wages if you are in the building industry,if you are doing your own business you pay when you submit your accounts
