Hi Experts
How do you prevent a new basic a/c separate from current debts being closed down as i can't go thru all that stress and then my utilities being affected again.

I have only one small debt in my new basic one but it's manageable as only £25pm as no interest so why if the new account is not a credit one would it be affected. I changed b4 december due to prior potential DMP but decided against it as company not up to scratch. My current bank offers dual function card not offered by other basic accounts and online banking.

Do any Experts have knowledge of northern banks and building societies.
thanks
raza

You really should not be incurring debts whilst you are in an IVA, no matter how small they are. I assume that this is a small bank overdraft??? Try and get this paid off as soon as possible, and carry on budgeting "debt free" into the future!
