I like Avon!

To be fair though, I never use makeup, I just like some of the other stuff and I've got an order in for Christmas now. I love their shower products.

I used to like their Skin So Soft stuff until they 'improved' it and it now makes me itch!

I used to like that - I just have their nice invigorating shower gels now, hubby sometimes has their roll on deodorants and I quite like their clothing - when it's reduced of course!

I like the NSpa Fruit shower gel from Asda or the Treacle Moon one from Tesco - it's cheaper than Avon, and I can buy it when I need it!

I do wish companies wouldn't 'improve' things though - Sure are the latest one to do this and I can't use their Crystal deodorant any more.

I hadn't realised they had changed Sure Crystal. I've not had a problem with it.

I do find that the large Avon shower gel lasts me for ages. I try and get it when it's going cheap though!

I dont have much Miss Dior perfume left so special occassions only, not sure what I was more mad with on Sunday when I got stood up on a date, that fact that he stood me up or that I had used my best perfume when I have so little spare!

Dior Lip gloss: I have my fave and have been wearing it years when I could afford it and carried on wearing it when I definatly couuldnytt afford it, it is my only two luxuries, I dont drink or smoke and my friend cuts and colours my hair so I feel I can justify it!!

Avon: does great wax strips. and dead cheap!! I used to pay almost £40 for a holywood and half leg wax but stock up when they are 2 packs for £4 just get myself into some strange positions!!
Back to square one but what dunt kill you makes you stronger!!

I suddenly started itching around my arms and down my side, in the general area the spray would have gone. I didn't know what it was and it was driving me mad and my mum suggested that it could be my deodorant.

I didn't think it would be as I've been using it for years, but when I looked at the can it said 'new', so I'm presuming they've changed something.

I've now switched to a Dove stick and I'm fine.

I used to have a half leg and underarm wax for £18 by a home beautician, but can no longer afford that.

I use Veet hot wax, bung it in the microwave to heat it up, the strips are washable and reusable and it does the trick!

It's a razor for me I'm afraid, I'm too much of a wimp for waxing!

I love the fact that it lasts for such a long time. The vast majority of the bottom half of my legs are now totally bald and don't need any waxing at all! My arms are getting there as well.

Far too painful for me! I did by an epilator once but I only used it once as it was so painful and my legs looked like a plucked chicken!

I'll stick to the razor!

I would never use an epilator - they always look really painful! I have never found waxing too bad.

AWWW!! Gordan. I have been single now for 4 years and wish I had got back into dating a lot sooner I am just too b***** picky now!!and he was a waste of good perfume!!

Waxing is the best for me, I too have bald patches afetr years of doing so. I do wish I could afford to have it done by a professional again though especially the delicate areas that I need to be really bendy for!!

I manage to do mine, but then I don't do anything other than arms and legs.

I love Crabtree and Evelyn stuff - got into that in America when I bought some, and on the rare occasions I can afford it now, I love their Wisteria range.
