hi viki..i think i have got it sussed now...i realise you are the one who has had to sell up the restaurant...
in the first few weeks of posting i got loads of replies from you ...but didnt twig re your business.....i cant imagine what it has been like for you...yet somehow or other you have managed to remain ...not only upbeat...but sooo encouraging and supportive of the rest of us...

i am amazed on this forum that no matter what tough times we are all facing we seem to have the ability to rise above it and send out cyber support to virtual strangers.!!!.
but i am beginning to think that when we finally face up to the debt in our lives that it gives us a sense of empathy and an ability far beyond the natural to reach out and hold out our hands to those just beginning the journey.

you are one of lifes "hand holders"...and i suspect that tucked away in the palm of your hand is a bar of chocolate...tee hee....

I can't see them doing very well Viki with such a blase attitude. If that was me I would be fired up with enthusiasm and be there everyday.

You must be gutted every time you drive past it.

[:D][:D] TOL, you know me too well! Thanks for your kind words. I was feeling really low today for a number of reasons and then driving past my restaurant and seeing it all locked up didn't help, but seeing all your posts has really cheered me up.....again. You lot are all amazing, I'm very lucky to have such great friends. X

Hey Viki

I hope youre OK, just wanted to say, its behind you. Look forward with a smile, I know its easier said than done but you will feel better soon. Limbo is the worst thing but I remember when things started to move, it was a little scary. I had to admit that what was happening meant a chapter in my life was closing and it was time to move on...... You will find happiness again, just like I did. Where you are now is exactly where youre meant to be and I for one am really glad to have known you. May be we will meet one day?

PS, What is TOL???

Hi Viki
Just wanted to add my twopenneth. You are an inspiration and a rock to many of the posters on here. We all see the happy Viki, but I sometimes sense the thorn behind the rose. You have been here for so many, remember that we are here for you too.

Some debts are fun when you are acquiring them, but none are fun when you set about retiring them.
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile
