Me too. I went out today to get a small gift and took one of my M&S vouchers with me - I ended up paying cash because I didn't want to use that, I want to save it up for next Christmas! How sad is that?

Not sad at all Jan - because working out a budget, and sticking to it, will enable you to really enjoy the fruits of your labours once you have finished the payments.
I decided that any vouchers I get now will be put away for Christmas - that way it won't cost me too much cash. The one survey I do pays me in Tesco vouchers, I shall be sending for my first one soon, and then they will all be put away till December.

It just makes you really appreciate things once the IVA is out of the way. Its hard to break the habbit once you know you can survive on less and without the luxuries. My savings grow really quickly and yes ok, our circumstances have changed a lot since Jon's F&F was accepted but even with so much more spare money a month, i would rather it just sit in the bank than be spent for the sake of having it.
I won't be doing any impulse buying once mine has finished. Beforehand, we would have gone out on a Saturday or Sunday and invariably ended up spending something.
I remember a few years ago going out to get a venting kit for our tumble dryer. The first time we went out, we came back with a microwave - the second time was a dishwasher. I think we got one on the third attempt!
These days, we stay in during the weekend. It's much cheaper!

I had a motability Skoda and it was a true work horse, the things I managed to squeeze into it, it never complained. My older kids hated it though as all the other kids used to shout SKODA when I took them to school. Still, better than walking, the two miles eh?
