I am about to complete my IVA, need to move but obviously can't get a mortgage. Can my husband who was not involved in the IVA buy my house so we can rent it out?

Nothing to stop him doing that. Are you selling up to also move into rented accommodation?

Yes - this is the only way we see to get a bigger property. Have had no joy with prospective mortgages

Renting is not so bad, and it will be nicer to have more space, and someone else to pay the maintenance and upkeep costs.
