hi folks

not been on for a few days, had a nightmare of a week to be honest!
hubby got suspended from his job and had to go for a disciplinary hearing! he has worked there for 22 years, its a long story and although it sounds unreal alot of this has all blew up out of proportion! anyhow everything is ok now, he has had no warning and they even said they will look into paying the overtime he has lost while he was suspended! hes back at work now, but i have just been so worried and down could not even bring myself to post!

have missed you all and am now trying to catc h up on all of your posts!

How awful for you Barbara. If any of this is likely to impact on your IVA payments, be sure to give me a call. Glad things have been resolved.

Many of your forum friends have been worried about you - and surely this is a testament to this wonderful support site.

Barb,

How terrible for you! So glad it seems to have been sorted. Glad to see you back.

thankyou everyone!

we are all fine now! hubby was suspended on full pay melanie so that was a bonus but it was such a worry not knowing the outcome of it all!

a lot of it comes down to health and safety and targets, hubby is a chargehand and adheres to health and safety, the floor manager wants to hit targets with no regard for health and safety. There is a lot more to it than that but the fact that he is back in the same position doing the same job and even being compensated for lost overtime says to us that the company have slipped up big time and are trying to make amends! thankyou melanie, you are so kind but our iva payment will be ok!

you are right this forum is a wonderful place for support, friendship and advice and i want to be a part of it for a long time to come!

love you all!
