Thanks Melanie, will keep trying. Can I ask you though, if the bank only have a form with my signature on it for an overdraft of £100 and at this stage they can produce nothing else that says I agree to anyone increasing the overdraft. And DFD say they owe me nothing and because they "assumed" some things that my husband said meant other things, and they cant or wont provide the audios etc etc etc. In your professional opinion which would not be quoted, who is responsible for what? if you prefer not to answer then I understand.Thanks

The bank have to prove that you agreed to be party to the account, and that will be confirmed when they send you copies of all documents that they claimed you have signed. You will need to read them carefully to establish whether you have any liability.

In truth, Debt Free Direct are not acting for you, so they really do not owe you any duty of care, but professional courtesy to their own client would indicate that they could be helpful in trying to resolve this for you both.
