Hi
basically you now in over your head Speak to somebody asap and get yourself sorted The sooner you get things moving the better you will be. I didnt miss any paymnets until I was told by my IVA to stop doing so and pay a token amount Once you set the ball rolling then your IVA team takes over Is very worrying at the start and stressful of course but when its set up and you start everythng will click into place I am not an expert just my thoughts as been there and soon will be out if it

I am sure your IP will understand that some household bills are in one name and some in the others. His income will be used to calculate his fair share of expenses. So, if he earns twice as much as you, you will only be allowed the third it is assumed you pay. If you earn the same, then the expenses are assumed to be split equally. Other than that his money is his own.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
