Hello,

I have been in an IVA for over 2 years now.

My partner recently purchased a property on our behalf so we have a house together technically, although she alone is the legal owner.

We are getting married next year and we are worried about how this will affect her/the property/her credit rating etc.

Can anyone give me some advice as to how this will affect her? If I dont go on the deeds or get any joint account etc, will she be unaffected?

Thanks!

With married couples, if one of you has a poor credit rating this is likely to affect the other's sadly.

If your wife remains the legal owner of the property, and it was purchased using funds provided by her solely, then this would not be affected by your IVA.
