Hi and welcome to the forum
Have a chat with an IP or debt management firm as you clearly need some help.Depending on your circumstances the solution could be bankruptcy,an IVA or a debt management plan.

Welcome from me too
Don't worry there will be a solution, if you go for a DMP just be wary of companies that charge a fee. I went with the CCCS and they do not charge as they are a Charity. My Husband used a company that took his first payment in fees then £80.00 a month, which means they had about £4000 from us over the last 4 years which could have been used against his debt.

How much do you actually owe to your creditors, Baj - and how much do you feel that you have available to pay them each month?

Hi
Just on the CCCS point be aware that they in affect charge a fee for collecting the creditors money and that this is paid by the creditors.
You will actually repay your creditors in full under a fee paying DMP and not under a CCCS DMP.

Andy, don't both the charity sector (CCCS) and private commercial firms offering DMP arrangements plan to pay back in full?

The private sector charge a fee from the contribution made, whilst the contribution under the CCCS model is paid over in full without deduction - but the lender re-pays CCCS a fee.

Consequently the net effect is that creditors receive the same (obviously it will vary depending on fees charged by the commercial sector as against what CCCS receive from the lenders).

By the way what charitable organisations or good causes does CCCS make payments to other than the Board of Trustees?

I am going to start a new thread on this and see what re-action or comment it generates.
