i am in the armed forces, would my employer need to know, is there a difference for normal iva agreements

Hi there and welcome to the forum

If you enter into an IVA there is no requirement for you to inform your employer, as this is a private arrangement between you and your creditors.

If you are required to have a higher level of vetting, depending upon your trade, rank or role, then the IVA would need to be disclosed, and you would need to complete a fuller financial disclosure.
