I handed my notice in and leave my current employment tomorrow. I do not have a job to go to. I am currently in an IVA and i found out yesterday i am pregnant. I will not get any maternity pay as i have left my employment. Where do i stand when it comes to paying my IVA back, I will not be earning money. If you can not make your IVA payments (which on the face of it seems to be the case), you must discuss this immediately with your IP. It may be possible to insert a break in your payments until you are in a position to make the payments once again. However, it may be likely now that an IVA is no longer the most suitable debt solution option for you and that you should now pursue one of the alternatives such as bankruptcy.

The key thing to remember is that there are always other options available and even if your IVA has to fail you will be able to seek an alternative solution to your debt problems.
