had my weekly phone call this morning from mnba and guess what they were only trying to get me to take out a loan to pay them and make it easier for me with just one payment a month to make

after making that first phone call (best thing ive done) its all the waiting i know things take time rome and all that.if there is light at the end i know im in safe hands with melanie and her great team

Shocking isn't it? As much as its the responsibility of the individual to refuse such offers, surely the banks have to take some blame here.

i remember the relief when I took the IVA. It all went quiet.

I have to say the relief when phone calls stopped was immense. For the past 5 years we have answered our phone, and without fear. :-)

great news melanie has heard back from one of my main creditors and is going to take my case foward.just 2 bits of paperwork to find and send off.

just spoke to a very nice man from mnba who has taken me off the auto dialler and will ring back in 2 weeks to see how things are going.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We've only really had the minimum of calls but MBNA have sent their first contact, a text to husbands phone, despite me taking it off the system, saying they had tried contacting us !!!!! er no I don't think they have.

Hi I remember writing to Barclaycard informing them I was entering an IVA. They wrote back and increased my limit by £8000!!!
Lost all respect for them after that!
